Teban Gardens Briyani

Let me entice you with a picture first..

Mutton biryani with extra sauce :)
Looks like some picture from a restaurant menu right. It's just from the good old coffeeshop!

was actually planning to head down to IMM ah mei café wanting some malay/ indian food today. They have very decent prata, wanted to try their rice set. anyways ..Took bus 143 from my dance place but was too hungry to wait till reach Jurong East. So.. when the bus went pass teban gardens and the hawker seems good I hopped off the bus!

and conclusion is u can get decent biryani food though the hawker stores seem so 冷清
i guess cuz there's a mosque around so there's a whole row of muslim food at the back.
Walked one round and settled for some malay food.

I have started to explore and like malay food since recently. It's like my family nvr ate mutton or whatever they didn't dare to try, I thought it's not our thing for Cantonese.
But after trying mutton for the first time i'm hooked on it.
& I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BRIYANI RICE
I didn't know what it's called and use to call it " the coloured rice" haha.

Conclusion: Rice was flavourful, sauce was good ( asked for extra), refreshing cucumber pineapple sides. Mutton was soft and chewy but a tad too spicy for me. Portion was big. Ate alott of rice.
Overall :4/5

Suprising good and random find :)
